First opened its doors in 1973. The famous cherries speak for themselves and don’t even need the word Pacha to be recognized. The brand is known worldwide but the powerfull epicenter can be found at Ibiza. Pacha Ibiza is the glamourous one, the original one. Think of Pacha and you automatically think of Ibiza. It is located in Ibiza Town and famous for parties such as F*** Me I’m Famous! and Flower Power.
The spirit of Ibiza since 1989. Located in Playa D’en Bossa. This club is a legend when it comes to opening and closing the season. Each year clubbers from all over the world come to Ibiza just for the Space Opening or Closing Fiesta. Besides these parties Space Ibiza is also known for “We Love” on Sundays and Carl Cox has been holding his residency at this club for more than 10 years.
The boombastic one with a sound system that will blow your mind. Located at the main road between Ibiza Town and San Antonio. The club has been voted as best global club for several times now. An amazing ice cannon will cool you down when you’re heating up on the dancefloor. Famous parties at Amnesia are Sven Vath’s Cocoon, Cream, La Troya and the legendary foam parties.
Holds the Guiness world record for biggest club in the world. The club is so big, that it can easily hold a huge swimming pool in the middle of the dancefloor. It is located on the main road between Ibiza and San Antonio. Great names have had their residency at this club such as Mauro Picotto and Tiësto. In 2012 Armin van Buuren moved to Privilege with a State of Trance.
Located in the heart of San Antonio and therefore loved by the San Antonio crowd. It is home to the famous Judge Jules parties for the last 12 years now. Other established brands that held their parties at this club are Twice as Nice, Pete Tong’s Wonderland and Garlands. New in 2012 is Ibiza Live at Tuesdays.
One of Ibiza’s oldest clubs. Located in San Antonio. Often named as the most beautiful club on the Island. As the name suggests it makes you feel like entering paradise from a fairytale when you hit this club. Es Paradis is famous for its water parties (Fiesta del Aqua), Hed Kandi and Ibiza Rocks afterparties.
Definitely Ibiza’s most talked about and most controversial club. It’s all thanks to one party in particular: Circo Loco. It started out as monday morning after hours ibiza clubbing: free entry, true open air clubbing and quality house music. It became such a hype with crazy outfits, free atmosphere and legendary sitdowns that this club made it into the history books.
In 2008 the Ibiza Rocks Hotel opened its doors for the first time combining hot weather, cool accommodation and the biggest acts on the planet playing poolside on a weekly basis. The hotel has staged some legendary acts over the past three years including The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal, The Streets, Calvin Harris, LCD Soundsystem, Biffy Clyro, Pendulum, Florence & The Machine and many more. Summer 2012 will see the opening of a new Ibiza Rocks bar at Playa D’en Bossa.
It looks like it came out of nowhere but it sure has established itself. It had an amazing summer in 2011 with residencies of Swedish House Mafia and Sasha. The events are based around a huge swimming pool area. Ushuaïa is located in Playa D’en Bossa right next to Space. This place also put daytime parties back on the map. Their events start at five PM. You can expect glam at Ushuaia.
Bomba Ibiza becomes Booom! Ibiza. The new kid in town opens July 9th 2013 in the Ibiza Marina venue formerly know as Angel’s, Penelope and Heaven. It holds a capacity for about 1000 party people and is the first to deliver “bombing’ beats through a custom made Pioneer sound system. For their first summer, Defected in the House, Luciano’s Vagabundos, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Yousef with Circus are already confirmed for weekly residencies. We have to wait and see what summer 2013 brings them but this could be one for the stay! Update: Booom! Ibiza is closed. The last parties were held in summer 2014.
The underground club located in Playa d’en Bossa. Started back in 2011. Expect a clubbing basement where the focus is on music. If you love the underground scene, then Sankeys is your club. Get in and dance your ass of at their famous parties Viva Warriors or Tribal Sessions.
